Wow looking at the Globe and Mail and Toronto Star’s opinion sections, you’d think celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the birth of the CCF/NDP was right up there with Christmas and Canada (Dominion) Day.

I guess even though the NDP has hardly ever been in power, they can celebrate their “moral” victories (funny how they decry conservatives when they talk about morals), like the socialized healthcare that has resulted in 20% of Canadians not having a family doctors, hospitals regularly closing down elective surgeries to save money, and patients waiting up to two years for some operations. Oh and let’s not forget the public education system that has feminized boys into being lazy, couch potato, guitar hero playing do nothings, that can barely write an essay when they enter university?
When will free-market capitalism ever get its birthday celebrated in such a fawning way by the opinion makers at these media outlets?
Sincerely,
Christopher [_______]
Seeing as the media constantly bashes the free market and capitalism, I don’t see it happening soon.
