I’m drinking a cocktail — served up by my wife, who is not, I repeat not the gal in the feature image above who is just another AI-generated server to go along with my “server” theme this week. She (the AI gal) is named AlmaLinux 8 like all the others, because, all the servers are named AlmaLinux 8. You don’t understand.
Because the server upgrade is over, and the new “look and feel” of the site is largely complete I do deserve this cocktail. Lots more to do of course mostly on the mobile and tablet theme. Then it’s champagne, baby.
Here’s an actual photo of my cocktail. It’s a rum ‘n eggnog, natch, given it’s the Christmas season, with freshly grated nutmeg. Made with Appleton rum because I deserve the extra $3 expense (plus PST, carbon tax, liquor tax, excise tax, import duties, woke tax, DEI tax, media subsidy tax, battery/green plant and other such “investment” tax, and of course GST on the cost plus all of those other taxes… because that’s how Canada rolls, y’all. Also North Korea.).
