Just last night I blogged via smartphone that a radio station tweeted a late news item from China, wherein they referred to communist China’s state broadcaster as China’s “state broadcaster”. They’re right to call it that, but they do it even as they always refer to the CBC as simply “the CBC”. Which is of course inconsistent.
Well a lone media outlet — a Canadian one at that — is following my lead, and once again referred to the 100% state-owned, state-controlled CBC as Canada’s “state broadcaster” — exactly as the radio station last night referred to China’s communist TV as its “state broadcaster”. This is accuracy in reporting.
