Looking through some of my recent weeks’ screen captures from the state broadcaster this morning and stumbled onto this bit of redundancy:
Isn’t the whole you’ve got to be kidding party “defense critics?” Aren’t they against the military defense of our country or any other in the name of freedom, writ large? They still demand we stop fighting the Islamofascist jihadist terrorists who are out to kill us all, in Afghanistan, and just come on home, right?
EXTRA PUZZLE PIECE
The fact that the screen capture is from the state-owned CBC is just a funny bonus, as they repeatedly call the war on terror the “so-called war on terror.” Or when George Bush was president, they sometimes gamed it up even further by calling it “George Bush’s so-called war on terror”.
And don’t you hate it when you end up with an extra puzzle piece?
