“Us Weekly” magazine editor and former reporter caught seducing 13-year-old

A criminal offense in the U.S. is what liberals call a mature sexual relationship in Canada.  Having sex with 14-year-old little girls (and boys) is legal in Canada

[…] Even consensual activity with those under 14 but over 12 may not be an offence if the accused is under 16 and less than two years older than the complainant. […]

Because that’s how liberals think.  The philosophy of the liberal-left and vision for “their Canada” (as their campaign slogan goes) is manifestly:  If it feels good, do it; and the younger the better!

I bet the liberal Hollywood entertainment editor/reporter from Us Weekly in this story wishes he lived in Canada though, where it’s more “progressive”.  And at the rate of “progress” we’re making in Canada under the liberal-left, the age of consent might well keep getting lower and lower.  Then he’d be home free, having sex with 13-year-old children all he wants—maybe with your daughter!—as would countless other liberal Canadians.

In the liberal-left world view, that’s how we attract the best and the brightest to our country.  Just wait until the Liberals and NDP legalize prostitution as they promise to do.  And pot-smoking.  Oh the sex and drugs—with kids!  OOPS!  Make a booboo with the little tyke?  Free abortions without limits!  Gay marriage too!  We can only imagine what the “progressive” liberal-left have planned next.  Yummy!  Canada is so “liberal”—so “progressive”.

Editor nabbed in bid for sex with girl, 13

A magazine editor was charged yesterday with trying to pick up a 13-year-old girl on the Internet for sex, federal authorities said.

Tim McDarrah, an Us Weekly editor and former New York Post reporter, offered to pay $200 for “sex with a YOUNG hottie,” and was nabbed when he showed up at a Manhattan building where he thought the girl lived, authorities said.

McDarrah, 43, who allegedly used his mother’s AOL account to set up the illicit tryst, was charged with using a computer to persuade a minor to engage in sex, officials said.

“He told [the agent posing as the girl] that 17 is the age of consent, but he didn’t plan to wait that long,” an undercover federal agent pretending to be the girl said, according court papers.

The editor first made contact with the agent in July when he answered an ad on the Craig’s list Web site, officials said.

They exchanged messages for weeks in which McDarrah coaxed “the girl” into agreeing to meet for sex, authorities said.

McDarrah was not immediately reachable for comment. An Us spokesman said McDarrah had been suspended without pay.

In Canada, the liberal-left believe that 43-year-old men—strangers—should be allowed to have sex with girls aged fourteen and over.  Aged thirteen?  What are you crazy?  No no no.  Fourteen is absolutely fine though, because then little girls (and boys) are fully mature enough to make these life-altering (and ever-so fun for the grownups!) decisions, and the grownup liberals assume the young’uns will survive the ordeal mentally and physically, I guess.  But like whatever eh?  And hey, and at age fourteen, it’s easily “moral” enough for the liberals.  But morals…. that’s like “Christian” junk ain’t it?  Yuck!  Stupid morals!  Vote liberal!

What inspires Canada’s liberal-left?  I can only imagine that liberal-left politicians in Canada hope to have sex with girls—or boys of course—aged 14 or older.  Maybe they already are doing that—but it’s not my business.  It’s legal, and “the state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation”.  Except when they legalize and regulate and tax prostitution, I guess.  And pay for more and more abortions. And welfare to single 14-year-old parents.  And on, and on.
