PTBC’s Liberal Moonbat Of The Week Award: To Bare-Ass Bob Rae for getting his own butt kicked.

image Actually the award this week is for the Liberals’ Bare-Ass Bob Rae for getting his bare-ass kicked, and then blithely bending over and going in for more spankings.

And it also provides us with the only thing you need to know about what happened in the ever so vital question period in the House of Commons today.  This was the most important thing.  This is his big question after the House resumed sitting after MONTHS of recess, and the world in crisis on so many levels:

Liberal MP (and former Ontario socialist premier) Bare-Ass Bob Rae: Mr. speaker in light of the extraordinary [then repeats] in light of the extraordinary attacks on our health care system by the people who apparently have given the Prime Minister such spiritual inspiration over the years, I’d like to ask the Prime Minister a very simple question.  Is the Prime Minister proud of our health care system, Mr. Speaker?

[Some laughter from other side]

Prime Minister Harper: Mr. Speaker it’s the only system my family has ever used, and we’re depending on it.

[Much laughter and cheering from Conservatives, who all got the sad joke]

Ahh.  Times you wish you’d learned, after being in politics for a thousand years, that you don’t ask a dumb-ass question without first knowing the answer.

But that clumsy Clint Eastwood/Dirty Harry wannabe, ‘cummon, Prime Minista, do ya feel proud?  Say it, I dares ya!  Do ya feel proud, punk?  …was just a teaser.  As if he’s a masochist who wants his bare-butt slapped again, he bent over, and begged for the big paddle thus earning him the award:

imageLiberal MP (and former Ontario socialist premier) Bare-Ass Bob Rae:  Mr. Speaker in light of that answer perhaps the Prime Minister can explain the astonishing silence when our system is under consistent attack for several months by right-wing forces in the United States in particular Mr. Speaker … [interrupted by laughter at him] … Mr. Speaker I’d like to ask the PM a very simply question:  Does the Prime Minister plan to launch a significant defence of the Canadian system in light of the attacks being made on it in the United States of America!

[Laughter and derision abounds from the House]

Prime Minister Harper: Well Mr. Speaker we intend to let the United States make its own decisions on domestic debate.  I will say this Mr. Speaker, the Canadian health care system will not only survive attacks by right-wing commentators in the United States,  it even survived one by left-wing incompetents in Ontario.

[Conservatives laugh and applaud, Liberals slump deep down into their seats]

That kick is going leave a mark on someone’s bare ass.

Oh go ahead and read it again.  It’s that hideous.  It’s what Liberals are all about today.  It’s what Canadian politics has been reduced to.  It’s what politicians in a banana republic do, especially when people let them get away with it.

Honestly.  Please.  The “attack”?  On our healthcare system?  Attack on a system?  By “right-wing forces”

Dear God.

These people don’t want to fight terrorism, but they want to “launch a significant defence” against “right-wing forces” to fend off their meaniepants “attacks” on a government health care plan.  NOW they want to call in the F-18s and get to that strategic defence initiative Ronald Regan was always on about.

Oh my.  I can’t figure out why we’re in such deep poop.  Can’t figure it out.  Nope.

EXTRA SLAP UPON THE COPIOUS ASS:
Even Barack Obama said he doesn’t want anything like a Canadian health care system.  I may have misunderstood it when he said it but I transcribed his “town hall” speech like this: “I’m not in favor of a Canadian system”.

DEFENSIVE RESPONSE TO ATTACKS FROM OUTRAGED READER, UM, “FORCES”:
OK OK!  I give up!  Exit strategy!  I preempt your verbal and email attacks by offering or should I say “launching” the strategic PTBC Quote of the Week Award (and “significant” it is!) to Prime Minister Harper, for his superb butt-kicking ability.
