Obviously I’ve taken the Easter holiday weekend and made out like I was a normal Canadian on holiday. Wow! What a concept! Of course with PTBC, I don’t get “paid holidays” like most people… mmm nor do I get paid if I’m working! So I guess you could look at it two ways: either I’m on holiday every day, or I’m working every day, as I get paid the same no matter what. (And the pension benefits are not great!)
One PTBC reader (who has not ever contributed to the site financially) blasted me for taking time off for Easter, writing to me on Easter Sunday while I was with my family after Church:

Ahhh…. man this site pays off in so many ways, who needs to earn a living?!
Anyway, I’m still on holidays because my wife, who also doesn’t get paid to help me with this site as much as she can, which is a lot, is taking the day off today for a rare extended weekend. We’re spending it going to a doctor’s appointment for myself, and doing our taxes (it’s hard work and will take days actually, but at least adding up all the revenue for PTBC is easy!) and doing some other things that I can’t do very easily during the normal PTBC work week. Fun huh?
How about that Masters Golf Tournament huh? My wife organizes an annual Masters Golf pool for her office: Last year I picked Zack Johnson and didn’t pick Phil Mickelson. This year I picked Phil Mickelson and not Zack Johnson.
One day I’ll go golfing… I just know it.
