Oh and also, not that it’s important…. in fact let’s make clear that it isn’t…

In paragraph 15 (out of 15) in a story headlined Layton awaits health deal by Liberals, the liberal-friendly CTV.CA web site (owned by the same owner as the liberal Globe and Mail, Bell Globemedia) seems rather hesitant to have to speak of a Conservative Party promise that could have legs among Canadian voters.

Meanwhile, Harper has told Montreal newspaper La Presse that if his party is elected, he will sue the Liberal party. The civil suit would be aimed at recuperating all of the money lost through the sponsorship scandal.

Gee.  Who cares about the stupid Conservatives and what they say, huh?

They fit it in at least.  Exactly where they think it belongs.

And gee, this sure doesn’t reveal much about the weight they place on Conservative Party news and election promises, nor the way they see Conservative news as compared to what they think is really important like, say, news about the socialists Layton and Martin plotting their campaigns.  Nope.  No media bias here.

And just for vanity’s sake, allow me to boastfully remind readers that I’d suggested this back in the 1800s.  OK it was March.  But I wrote:

[…] Suggestions for Irwin Cotler, Liberal Minister of Gay Marriage and Minority Justice:  Start with a $250 million lawsuit against the Liberal Party of Canada.  Oh but by the way, Cotler, I’d like to vet the lawyers you hire to bring your lawsuit against the Liberal Party, just to ensure they’re good conservatives.  No use going round in circles here.

Or perhaps a taxpayer-led $250 million class-action lawsuit against the Liberal Party of Canada, where taxpayers would simply get their hard-earned cash back.

These are just suggestions.

Maybe if a new Conservative government launched a lawsuit against their sacred liberals, the CTV would notice and deem it worthy of something more than an addendum to a story about socialists plotting.
