New Brunswick man refuses to pay taxes if gov’t uses money to fund free abortions

A man in New Brunswick is refusing to pay his taxes since his tax money is being used to pay for life-ending abortions against his will, something to which he is vehemently opposed by reasons of conscience and religion—and probably science too, if he’s as smart as he sounds.

Canada has no laws against abortion or even restricting abortion in any way, shape, or form.  Over 100,000 are performed each year in Canada, all at taxpayers’ expense, no questions asked, at any time in any pregnancy, even right up to the moment of delivery—although most of those late-term abortions are done in the U.S. at Canadian taxpayer expense because few if any doctors here will do these late-term abortions for moral reasons, and the Liberal government doesn’t want that to stop them from the opportunity to end the life process, so they simply pay for the woman to go south for the procedure at taxpayer expense.  They don’t do that for any other kind of “health care” though. Just abortions.  Got it?

FREDERICTON (CP) – A New Brunswick man who hasn’t paid income tax in seven years says he is preparing to take on Canada Revenue in his fight to stop publicly funded abortions.

David Little of Fredericton, a pro-life activist, said Friday he has been summoned to appear in court next week to face three counts of failing to file personal income tax returns.

But Little said he’s going to try turning the tables on the revenue agency by launching a legal challenge under Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

“Jesus said, ‘Render to Ceasar the things that are Ceasar’s and to God the things that are God’s’,” said Little, a devout Roman Catholic.

“Human life doesn’t belong to Ceasar or Paul Martin or anyone else. It belongs to God. They can’t command us to give them money when we know they use a portion of it to kill babies.”

Little said his legal challenge will be unique.

He said he plans to take action under the Charter, using freedom of religion and conscience clauses to make his arguments.

[…] “I will not pay any fines until this law is reversed and citizens’ money is no longer used to fund what many of us believe is plain, pure murder,” he said.

And I wish him all the luck in the world.
