Answer: three options.
(a) Yes, they are on dope;
(b) No, but they are as dopey as someone on dope;
(c) They simply hire buffoons and let them write things in their paper.
Diane Francis writes in the National Post’s Financial Post section, but we’re not sure why. Today she wrote this, and they let her:
I keep having to keep changing my free placards for those moonbats! First we had plain old “environmental justice”, then “evacuation justice”, and now “population justice”?
Throw the constitutions of all the worlds’ nations away! Trash all religion and make religion illegal! Squash all freedoms! Humans are an impurity on this earth! A stain! They are in fact “pollution” —like CO2 “is a pollutant”(©United Nations). Utopian Global Government control of the population now! Reduce the population! Increase abortion funding! Hire more police! Consider fire pits! “Population justice” now!
Perhaps Diane Francis would like to start that ball a-rolling. No but seriously, she may have taken a few too many “man-made global warming” pills. She should stick to dope. She should really smoke a big fatty and learn to laugh at the “scientists” and their politicians a bit more like I do (sans the fatty). And like I laugh at her and other such idiocy usually found more on the CBC than the NatPo. (Then I snack!)
It is of course possible that there is a (d) option: the NatPo is actually TRYING to go bankrupt.
And possibly an (e) too: They’re trying to turn the venerable NatPo into a Canadian TheOnion.com, and they’re trying to be ironic or sardonic or employing some o’ that famous Canuck “artist”/humor we “invest” so many taxpayer dollars in; or maybe she and they are vying for a Canada Council grant by pretending to be a “literary artists” or something. And are simply failing miserably. In that case, give them (option (f)) additional funding by dropping her and the entire NatPo cabal of circus clowns off at the CBC’s massive global headquarters complex, which occupies more land than 600 houses and thirteen farms and which burns more CO2 than a farmyard full of farting cows. They take anybody over there at the Ceeb! And they then digest them and let them blow farts if that’s what fits their loony left-wing agenda, as this most surely does.
Matt Drudge noticed the lunacy. And I love how he referred to the National Post as “Canada’s National newspaper”. That’s gotta leave a mark over there in the panties of the NatPo executives and editors, who try to pretend they’re different than the CBC. “Canada’s National newspaper” sounds like the branch of the CBC that the liberals and their CBC division have dreamt of forever! Which as I said might be half the point here, or what we call option (f).
Actually, just take Francis to China. Maybe she can start a Gong Show over there. On their state-owned, state-controlled TV station. Since she’s so radically pro-abortion and anti-religion, she’ll fit right in. Or be jailed. Which she’d be in favor of, I guess.
While I’ve got your attention, a big hat tip to Warren Z for pointing out the idiotic article and including this YouTube video about population:
OK. Now. Grow up. Make babies.
UPDATE:
I think this may explain everything about Francis and the Obama-luvin’ NatPo: See this TheOnion.com vid:
