Maurice Strong, liberal, to step down over U.N./Iraq scandal (the other liberal scandal)

Sucking up to the radical extreme fundamentalist right-wing freaks in Canada (that’s the people who don’t vote liberal-left) because they fear a Liberal bloodbath, the state-run CBC division of the Liberal Party is reporting that Maurice Strong, liberal, is stepping down from his post at the Liberal Central Station, the United Nations. 

I’ve posted a few times about this Liberal Party tie to the Iraq/U.N. Oil-For-Food and Palaces of Rape scandal going on at the U.N.

Of course the state-run media giant forgot to mention that Maurice Strong, liberal, is a liberal, with direct ties to the Liberal Party of Canada.  His life was all about being a Liberal and nurturing Liberals like Paul Martin.  They did not mention that once.  Not once. 

This is in contradistinction to when they mention, say, the Fraser Institute, which is always, always, described as “the far-right Fraser Institute”.  Or the “extreme right-leaning think thank…”.  Or “the conservative think tank…”.  And when they talk about Fox News Channel, well they have to employ the official CBC psychologist and pharmacist in order to calm the nerves of the reporter and editor, and the piece takes an hour to edit because of all the references to Bush and Halliburton and conservative and right-wing and supposed and fair and balanced and Iraq

Maurice Strong, a long-time Canadian businessman and currently the top UN envoy for North Korea, will suspend his work for the United Nations while investigators look into his ties to a South Korean businessman accused in the UN oil-for-food scandal in Iraq.
