Media Research Center has another stellar day today, which amounts to reporting on the amazing collapse of journalistic integrity which has now clearly, obviously, officially befallen the news media profession. Don’t puff out your chests though, Canucks, it’s worse in Canada. In Canada the even more leftist-liberal media purposely talk about conservatives and Conservatives and conservatism as if it’s a disease, a threat, or a looming danger; and something about which to take offense.
Matthews Retracts Tagging Powell & Rice ‘Showcase Appointments’
On Friday’s Hardball on MSNBC, the day after he denigrated Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice as “showcase appointments,” Chris Matthews retracted his comment, chalking it up to a bad choice of words, as he contended that he should have called Powell and Rice “high-profile” appointments, rather than “showcase” appointments: “I should have said ‘high-level, high-profile’ appointments. They were genuine appointments. They were not tokens.” And, although Matthews did seem to demean Rice on Thursday by referring to her position of Secretary of State as a “nice title,” Matthews on Friday used a different tone: “Nobody on Earth believes that Condoleezza Rice is not this President’s chief foreign policy advisor. Or nobody challenges their ability. Personally, I love the guy, although I wish he’d had opposed the war, General Powell. So I used the wrong word. I should have said ‘high-level, high-profile,’ not ‘showcase,’ because some people took that as ‘token.’ And damn it, I certainly didn’t mean that.”
And damn it. He must mean it. I’m so sure he meant it, damn it.
Amazing how the media isn’t all over his racist remarks, huh? They’re always on top of supposed indiscretions by conservative radio or TV personalities.
Once again this helps proves that liberals are racist.
And as we can see from the Sarah Palin media fiasco and failure, they’re sexist.
Moreover, they’re overtly, rabidly, militantly biased against conservatives and conservative thoughts and ideas.
They don’t want to advance black people or women, they want to advance LIBERALS and SOCIALISTS. They hate black conservatives and female conservatives. They should just admit it.
Liberal Fox News Channel contributor (and former long-time aid to the Clintons) Dick Morris says in his newsletter today: “Understand: Palin is under attack because she was such a good choice.”
That’s like another way of saying the media is completely biased and is full of crap and can’t be trusted, because it’s primarily the media who is driving this totally irrational, rabid attack against the good Sarah Palin.
