Government-run daycare needs the help of a social program

I think Quebec’s prized (by all liberals) government run daycare system needs another government-run social program and a bunch o’ bureaucrats to monitor it, so as to ensure that it complies with government regulations and the regimens of HALF-ASSED NOMINAL SANITY.  (Hat tip to “pissedoff”).

Or, parents and families could just raise the kids.  Just kidding!  That’s so all the time on earth prior to 2004!

No More Outdoor Naps at Quebec Daycare Centre

Saying the child should have been brought inside after two hours, the head of a Quebec daycare centre says outside naps will no longer happen.

The story has become front-page news, after a couple came forward to report that their 13-month-old son had been left outside for over 4 and a half hours in freezing temperatures while at a government-run daycare centre last month.

The centre’s head says outdoor naps are a regular occurance [sic] there, but that the practice has come to an end.

The baby’s hands a feet were cold after sleeping outside for several hours, but suffered no long-term ill effects.

Employees said they did not want to wake the child from his nap, so they left him outside.

I think the problem is funding.

Perhaps they could divert some funding away from the teen Ball Waxing video budget at the state-run CBC.
