Globe and Mail readers answer their online poll: Most think the polar bear, now in existence for countless millions of years, having survived greater and lessor amounts of ice and sundry (natural!) climate changes over the millennia, is suddenly going to completely die off and become completely extinct… within their lifetimes.
“Do you think polar bears will become extinct in your lifetime?”
Yes – 57% (5968 votes)
No – 43% (4513 votes)
Although the poll isn’t scientific, I think its results should be rather embarrassing for the Globe and Mail on a few important fronts:
1. Globe and Mail readers are hereby betraying proof of a rather pathetic, overt ignorance of, and separation from, reality; as well as some pretty clear susceptibility to brainwashing by slimy snake oil salesmen.
2. The liberal media’s pathological obsession with the theory of “man-made global warming” has reached epidemic proportions, such that their “news” stories have successfully led many Canadians—including of course politicians—into irrational thought patterns, beliefs, and ultimately, irrational actions as exemplified in their politics and voting.
3. This offers some proof of the fact that the liberal-left media in this country is egregiously misinforming Canadians. Not unlike slimy snake oil salesmen.
Is this satisfactory to the liberal media? Are they pleased with themselves? Surely they are, or they would take responsibility and run a massive media re-education campaign to correct the egregious misinformation which has led to this utter stupidity.
No. This is precisely the desired result, methinks. Well done, liberals.
Unless you’re satisfied with the prospect of massive life-changing economic, social, and political decisions being made on the basis of pure bullcrap, the liberals’ massive media division, their academia division, and liberal-left politicians should all be called onto the carpet—by regular Canadians like you—to answer for their abject perfidy.
