Last election, failed Liberal leader and Prime Minister Paul (I dint do nuttin’) Martin pleaded with the far-left socialists of Jack Layton’s “New” Democratic Party to join together— all “progressives” should join together, he said, and help defeat the evil Conservatives….
Well Layton balked. The leftist Liberals were too right-wing for that socialist.
But today, Layton totally flip-flopped on his principles. (Any liberals can flip-flop on their core principles according to daily polls and such; and no it’s not a “gaffe” manifestly because they’re not conservatives. See?).
The Liberal Party has shifted way to the left recently, and seeing an opening, Layton now says he’d be thrilled to join with the Liberals in order to defeat Conservatives. Anything to more fully restart that Fabian socialist agenda in earnest. Anything. It’s a “principle” of the “progressives”, apparently.
The New Democratic Party is open to forming a coalition with the Liberals if it would help implement the party’s policies, NDP Leader Jack Layton said Monday.
Layton, speaking to CTV’s Canada AM, hinted he would work with the Liberals if the two parties combined won more seats in Parliament than the Tories on Oct. 14.
So if you’re a liberal-leftist or outright socialist, it really doesn’t matter who you vote for: NDP, or Liberal. And from the Liberals we know it really doesn’t matter if you vote for them or the Greens, whom they work with in official collusion.
And the Communist Party of Canada calls itself the “progressive” party too, so what the hell.
