CTV Newsnet boosts “draft Gore for Prez!” campaign. It’s a Canadian “news” story!

They had so many stories about Hillary I guess they were starting to look like the cute li’l junior Canadian branch of the liberal media in the U.S., so today it’s Al Gore.  Not that that improves their image.

I love how their stock photo of him is one in which he’s set upon a backdrop of adoring screaming fans, as though he’s a rock star from the liberal version of heaven.

Liberals won in Ontario!  Keep up the yummy liberal-left momentum!

Funny—I don’t remember hearing or seeing anything from them about the draft Newt Gingrich campaign.  Nor the draft Fred Thompson campaign.  Does anybody even know who those people are?  Can you name more than one or two Republican candidates?  Sure they’re Republicans and that would make the very idea hilarious for liberals, but then maybe in order to pretend they’re fair, balanced, and objective, the CTV could also not do stories which only boost fellow liberals—in American politics or Canadian.  Nah—too radical.  That would be seen as biased against liberals!

All I ever see on liberalvision CTV with regard to the presidential campaigns is glowing, gratuitous, nonsense, all positive “news” stories about Hillary (over and over and over), her husband Bill, that “rock star” Obama, that poor John Edwards, and now (oh… hopefully!) Al Gore (didjaknow he’s the man who “used to be the next President of the United States, ar ar ar”….?).

Here’s some screen-captures from their gratuitous “draft Al Gore” campaign, being regurgitated all day, over and over and over, until it sinks in…

I love how they were sure to include a close-up (below) of the draft Al Gore web site address.  Just because.

Here’s their man in Washington with a supplemental report on the big “news story” about the yummy draft Al Gore campaign.

Personally, I think that regarding Al Gore, the real news is that a U.K. judge has just ruled (yesterday) that if teachers want to show his lie-fest “An Inconvenient Truth” in schools (like they do here all day long), the teachers must first forewarn students that the film is not “fact”—it’s in fact political propaganda.  Political indoctrination.  But the CTV doesn’t report that.  Didn’t even mention it.

Amazing.
