Election war rooms consider impact of blogs

Those by journalists, high-profile pundits and opposing parties are “an early-warning line for oncoming spin and possible attempts to poke holes in our policy plans,’’ said senior communications advisor Yaroslav Baran.
Those by the grassroots—seniors, students and others looking for a voice outside the mainstream media—serve as “a finger on the populist pulse to see what’s resonating out there.’‘
