Here’s something that hasn’t really made the news, and I wonder why:
68 daycare centers on (state-owned) elementary school properties in Vancouver alone—have also been picketed by the militants in the radical left-wing school teachers union (“party”) and are doing so illegally and in contempt of the BC Supreme Court, not to mention the contempt of parents and of families and of taxpayers and fairness and common sense…
But the Vancouver elementary school teachers union local have said just this morning that after hearing from a few parents (read: parent are about to go totally ballistic on the union’s ass), they’ll go ahead and stop picketing daycare centers.
How benevolent of the highly-paid state-employed militants who are in contempt of court and thought they’d found a way of really screwing the parents who had no place for their kids to go what with the schools being shut down.
However, as the Liberals are hell-bent on creating a socialist universal day care (and “early-learning”) system modeled on Canada’s grand health care system similar to what you might find in any other backward liberal-left socialist country, I imagine this will be among the last times we hear about that sort of olive branch being extended by the radical unionists, since it seems to me the various government unions which will be in charge of them will be obligated to picket daycare centers in the future when they become the state-run liberal-left indoctrination centers (which they will call “early learning” centers).
Of course people of Canada could simply shake their heads, stop listening to the liberal-left media (et al) without questioning
every single word and phraseology and inflection and sneer
(sneers are reserved for when they talk to conservative Canadians or any Americans), and stop voting for liberals, and start voting for right-thinking common sense conservatives of value and principle who believe in families instead of fighting them… but that’s another matter.
