That’s That…Fish For Supper Tonight

I think it’s time to call the Orkin man to get this Beatle out of the hair of hard-working seal hunters.

“People all around the world are boycotting Canadian seafood until the seal hunt is ended for good,” music legend Paul McCartney said in a video from London released in Charlottetown.
“Already that seafood boycott has cost Canada many times more than what the seal hunt brings in.”

I especially like this bit of advice from the English pest…

The former Beatle and his wife, Heather, appealed to the federal government to end the hunt by implementing a licence buy-back program for hunters.

You want the licences, Mr. McCartney, you buy them. As a Canadian taxpayer, I refuse to pay for your lunacy.

I’m glad to see we now have a Prime Minister willing to stand up against the international communist, tree-hugging regime. He makes no bonos bones about what’s going on here…

“Unfortunately, we’re to some degree the victim of a bit of an international propaganda campaign,” Harper said during a visit to Moncton, N.B.

“We believe the country is acting responsibly and we’ll make sure all rules are enforced.”

Thank you, Mr. Harper.

I really don’t understand why the environuts are boycotting seafood anyway. These fools always get it wrong. Do these people eat seal? Nonetheless, they are punishing the fishing industry because of the seal hunt. That’s stoooopid! Why not boycott wheat? Or maple syrup? Or back bacon?

At any rate, I urge all Canadians to have some great Canadian fish for supper tonight…I know that’s what I’m having.
