State-run CBC reports facts! States that Harper called Kyoto a “socialist scheme” in ‘02.

God

golly they got it right.

In their hideously transparent effort to (as I see it) do the bidding of the liberal-left in Canada (as the media has proven itself so very willing to do in an abject display of its bias against conservatives and as shills for the liberal-left), the far-leftist state-run CBC has turned some Liberal Party web site screed into a counterpoint to the Conservative Party’s new anti-Liberal TV ads, and framed it as “news”.

Sadly for them, what they meant to have come across as an “embarrassment” and a sound butt-smacking ridicule-a-palooza of the Harper Conservatives, turned out to be a simple statement of fact.  Notwithstanding their funny “CBC News” moniker, this was not the desired effect.

And in so doing this, they have joined the far-leftist Toronto Star, liberalvision CTV, and other mainstream media in Canada in countering the terrific new Conservative Party ads with its own anti-Conservative fodder for liberals —some of which they’ve dug up on their own as a service to Canadian liberal-leftists and undecideds, and some of which they’ve simply repeated practically verbatim as requested/instructed by the liberal-left parties of socialist Layton, socialist Liberal Frenchman Dion, and other socialist anti-Canadian Frenchman Duceppe.

No tax receipts will be issued to these media firms, as I understand it.

They found this on

their

the Liberal Party’s web site, and then made a “news” story about it.

However they left out the part about the state-run CBC itself being a socialist scheme of the liberal-left—or Layton’s you’ve got to be kidding party being a socialist scheme which seeks to overturn Canada’s capitalist system with socialism and to promote global socialism.

They also pretend to fail to recognize the difference between taking positive action on pollution on the one hand, while at the same time being against the ridiculous, failed Kyoto Accord insanity.  They pretend this policy is incongruous and seek to have you view it as “Conservatives being flip-flopping voter-appeasing Doofuses and ‘Deniers’”.  As I’ve indicated over and over, they are of course agenda-driven liberal-left automatons, so one expects this today.

The liberal mainstream media in Canada is increasingly assuming the general demeanor of the left-wing blogs and smear sites, with roughly the same accuracy, truth, objectivity, and attention to fairness and balance.

Once again let me state the obvious:  state-run and state-owned media should be banned in this country, and that should be enshrined in our Constitution.
