I was informed with the shocking news that a great Canadian and someone in our rather close online conservative/political community was killed in a car crash last week. Doug Aldridge, who through his web site and radio show called The Right Side was a popular, strong, and enduring advocate of solid, true blue conservative politics in Canada.
He was someone I communicated with by email—who frequently wanted my perspective on things—and someone I liked very much. Among many other things I will miss his regular email updates about the latest topics he was conquering—always written with great apparent enthusiasm and excitement.
He was truly devoted to spreading the conservative message in Canada because like many of us, he was passionate about the message, and his country. He was a very good man.
His friendship, and his influence and efforts will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, Doug, and may God bless you, your wife Janice, and your family.
