In reporting on President Bush’s peace-making visit to the middle east today, CTV Newsnet anchor Kate Wheeler said Bush visited “the birthplace of Jesus”. That’s true!
The state-run CBC Newsworld coverage had a different take: Bush visited “what Christians believe to be the birthplace of Christ”. That’s funny!
Revealing and funny.
