While we wait with baited breath for the Hollywood liberals to arrive at the Oscar liberal-fest self-congratulatory awards ceremony number 886 this year, by private Lear Jet and Porsche from one of their other homes in France, we’re getting into Oscar fever here at PTBC!
Liberals awarding each other shiny trinkets gets everybody excited! It’s all about the love. The compassion. The tolerance.
So let’s remind ourselves who we’re dealing with here. For example, the quote (below, from contactmusic.com) would seem to indicate a really “compassionate” tone, yet again, from a liberal. More of that famous liberal-left “tolerance” and “inclusiveness”, I think, is what this is.
Gosh we hardly ever hear things like this from liberals. Especially the “artists” working in the entertainment industry. Like just the other day, that famous liberal-leftist Alec Baldwin, artist, wrote in a liberal blog with his own fingers, and I quote: “Cheney is a terrorist. He terrorizes our enemies abroad and innocent citizens here at home indiscriminately.”
He then retracted those comments when (I guess) some of his liberal-left friends indicated that they should keep those thoughts to themselves and not reveal their hidden agenda in quite so public a way.
In this new case, a liberal artist actor movie star named Denis Leary demonstrates his compassionate liberalism by (according to contactmusic.com) saying that he’d like to do something to the Vice President of the United States, who has a serious heart ailment, that would cause him to have “a massive heart attack”. By saying that, I can only imagine that he is wishing death on somebody. Not Osama bin Laden, mind you. No no. Dick Cheney. Osama’s not a Republican, silly!
LEARY SLAMS BUSH ADMINISTRATION

28/02/2006 09:31]Outspoken actor and comedian DENIS LEARY has hit out at US President GEORGE W BUSH and his allies, insisting he condemns every policy he has made in office.
The RESCUE ME star would love the opportunity to correct Bush’s catalogue of mistakes – starting with an administration overhaul.
He says, “The first thing I would do is fire (Vice President) DICK CHENEY, or scare the s**t out of him so that he had a massive heart attack.
“Basically I’d do the exact opposite of everything that Bush has done.
“I don’t understand him or his administration.”
No you don’t, Mr. Leary. Nor much of anything.
Denis Leary is the famous artist who starred in the Comedy Central show called “Merry F*&#-in’ Christmas”. It’s “about everything you hate about Christmas”. Yes it’s “for people who hate Christmas and need a place to go”. Actual quote to promote the show: “Instead of calling the suicide hotline, you should just watch this, and then commit suicide.”
The show apparently featured comedy bits that involved lesbian nuns who shower together. It was apparently a take-off on the “Girls Gone Wild” porn videos. Another comedy bit included a song by “Our Lady of Perpetual Suffering Church Choir” about a hooker.
Leary’s lecture to the audience included this statement: “Merry Christmas. Tonight we celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus, whose mom, Mary, just happens to be a virgin—even after she apparently gave birth to Jesus. At least that is the Catholic Church would have you believe.”
Boy that’s some funny funny stuff.
