Off to the government offices!

I have to embark on a trip to two different government offices right now, armed with cash, in order to satisfy a regulatory demand imposed upon me by two liberal governments (—one I’m trying to get re-elected here in BC).

No, I’m not erecting an oil-drilling rig off Vancouver Island to find oil to fuel Hollywood liberals’ private jets, or to fuel union-workers’ 4X4 pickup trucks, I’m trying to satisfy the bureaucratic demands of the genius Big Brother with regard to CaroleJamesSaid.ca—and possibly this site and others too.  I don’t know.  People who know about these things are currently looking into it, wasting still more time of bright and otherwise productive Canadians.

See this blog entry.

I should be back in hours.  But no problem.  I’ll be able to be productive again at some point in the day, maybe, and even though I’ll have less cash in my wallet, and less privacy, I’m still going to have tons of fight left in me!  Maybe even more!

Wish me well.  Remember—two government offices.  For web sites.  To express myself.  In the “True North Strong and Free”.

UPDATE: I managed to survive the government offices.  At the first one, the clerk who was dealing with me was nice enough, but the phone rang and rang while I was there.  I guess she decided that they can darn well hire another person to answer the phone because multi-tasking wasn’t in her job description, or her union contract.  So the phone rang and rang and rang.  Before going to that office I’d called on the phone too, and it also rang about 35 times for me.

Anyway, you’ll see that CaroleJamesSaid.ca is now brought to you by an organization of concerned citizens called ProudToBeCanadians.  I am the “registered sponsor”.  It’s all official now, and if I understand it correctly, I cannot be sent to jail for that site being there now.

I’m not convinced that there’s really much difference between that site and this one, however.  So I hope they allow computers in jail!
