NDP Youth; Communist-sounding folks goose-step at anti-war “rally”

The liberal media’s helpful aid to the anti-war zealots and nutbars went well yesterday.  They got lots of footage of people protesting all across Canada—zooming in tight where the numbers were scarce in order to make it appear there were more than there actually were.

The anti-war rallies across Canada were scarcely attended by many of Canada’s ignorants, “progressives”, hippies, “raging grannies”, communists, unemployed bums, smelly people, and feminists.  Among the far-left-wing extremist peaceniks and the usual phalanx of socialists and communists and “progressives” were sundry NDP supporters as usual.  For example this protest banner zipped across the CTV News screen:

When you go to their NDYA web site, here’s what you’re greeted with:  an apparent call for “radical” socialist action against, well,  “the man”, I guess.  Certainly against anyone conservative or capitalist— you know—normal Canadians.

Here’s some of their war against capitalism, call-for-socialism information:

The Youth Rights Charter

The prize policy piece of the NDYA from which the forces of democratic socialism in Alberta will be built!

NDYA Summer Council 2004 was the staging ground for the official adoption of the Youth Rights Charter by NDYA membership. This is policy that has already been passed by the B.C. Young New Democrats section and is currently being brought forward to our federal affiliate, the New Democratic Youth of Canada.

The NDYA plans on using the Youth Rights Charter as the main organizational artillery by which to engage, educate, radicalize and mobilize fellow youth throughout the province against any interests which are hostile to us.

We as the youth, as the future, must make sure that we are not subjugated unwillingly, in any way, to any unwanted influence, policy or government. The Youth Rights Charter is the first step forward in systematically challenging our opponents.

That verbiage used on their web site sounds like anything but a peace-loving doctrine or manifesto.  To me, it sounds more like a call for a rather militant, radical, communist revolution—only that couldn’t be, because these young communist-sounding folks are goose-stepping in the “rally” in direct affiliation with Jack Layton’s you’ve got to be kidding party—the federal NDP.

imageSIDEBAR:  I visited their site’s discussion forum too.  That was a mistake.  That’s a blurred picture at left.  Even the most jaded, “progressive” pornographers among you would vomit just a little, looking at it.  The “General” forum had one topic called “Jessica alba having sex analy”.  Upon a quick and painfully distasteful review, I found that nearly their whole forum is so totally underused and free of intelligent discussion that actually, it’s clearly been completely taken over by pornographers and various porno spammers, with pornography strewn all over the forum—not just today or recently, but every day, from weeks ago—back as far as May 30.  Each post has several extremely graphic pornography photos and/or links.  There are countless hundreds of them.  Perhaps thousands.  It’s a great resource for pornographers. Maybe the folks at the NDP believe it’s “free speech” or “equality” or a “Canadian value” or something. It’s certainly “progressive”!  (If memory serves, they join the Liberals in opposing raising the age of sexual consent to 16 from 14, don’t they?  Just a coinkidink.)

It’s a little surprising because they’re directly affiliated with the NDP—in fact they even confess that “The NDYC is also resourced by the Federal Youth Organizer, NDP Staff, whose responsibilities include supporting the work of the NDYC Executive, and working cooperatively with provincial youth sections, campus clubs, riding associations, and committees of the Party to further increase the participation of youth in all aspects of Party affairs.”  And it says “The NDYC is the youth section of the NDP.”  The bottom of the page indicates: “© 2007 New Democratic Party, all rights reserved. Authorized by the registered agent for Canada’s NDP.”  Of course they left out “supported by Canadian taxpayers”.

They are also a member of the The International Union of Socialist Youth, which if you read their manifesto, their quest includes words like “…The establishment of a New International Economic and Political Order…”.  It plays well off the Communist Manifesto of Marx and Engels.  They seem to implore the youth to arise and help put an end the free market capitalism that we enjoy today, and fight to replace it with a global socialist order and socialist political system where “workers rule”.  Communism, essentially, as I read it.

What a lovely vision. No wonder they’re against our nation and its military effort to spread freedom and democracy and our values, and to defend our nation and its way of life.  It would appear they hate Canada the way it is, and seek to turn it on its head.  Hey!  Just as I’ve been saying for years!

Anyway, here are some other scenes the CTV captured without bringing any attention to their significance whatsoever:

The anti-war protest banner says something about “Socialisme Internationale”—I think that’s French for communism.  (See it zoomed-in below…).  I went to their web site too, and it indicates that the NDP is a “Full member part[y]” (and provides a helpful link to the NDP!).

And of course here’s one of those ubiquitous “GEORGE BUSH CAUSED 9/11—IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB” anti-war protesters.  They didn’t interview those fellas, shockingly. I would imagine they also vote NDP, or communist, or “moonbat international”.

And here’s their leader, NDP leader Jack (“ass”) Layton at a previous, similar “Canadian rally”, at which he helpfully endorsed the notion of the Prime Minister of Canada being labeled a “war monger”, along with the other losers, communists, and moonbats-in-general:

I don’t know if he was at this weekend’s “rally”.  But this is the guy —the party—the liberal Canadian media take seriously and for which they provide face-time on their networks and ink in their newspapers.

Personally, I’m on Canada’s side.

Want to read more about the NDP Youth’s aspirations to build a communist world?  Here’s a great indication found here [http://www.ndya.ca/policy/more.php?id=255_0_11_0_M] at their NDP-sanctioned web site:

POLICY:
NDYA Convention 2005 Resolutions

Passed: Sun., Sep. 18, 2005

1) Socialism and the Alberta NDP

WHEREAS terminology such as “progressive” replacing “socialist” in any instance of NDP promotion only serves to alienate the party from its historical alliance with the working class;

WHEREAS any use of the word “progressive” over “socialist” is an obvious symbolic attempt at moving the party away from the historical reason why it was created;

WHEREAS capitalism is still the dominant form of global economy whose function results in nothing less than the relative inevitable degeneration of living standards of working people the world over;

WHEREAS international democratic socialism and its corresponding democratically planned economy is still the only means by which a sustainable, economically democratic and genuinely humanitarian society can be constructed;

BE IT RESOLVED that the NDYA continue to explicitly promote itself as a democratic socialist organization;

FUTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the NDYA will continue to promote an open dialogue on the ideas and principles of democratic socialism within the ANDP and encourage a return to the traditions and the endorsement of the ANDP as a democratic socialist party.

Moved by Roland Schmidt, Co-Chair

PASSED UNANIMOUSLY

2) Workers’ Control of the Means of Production

WHEREAS Canadians are constantly influenced by right-wing governments, business interests and the media against ideas such as economic democracy, unionism or workers’ control;

WHEREAS in Venezuela, the Chavez government is embarking on projects of worker managed factories which have proven themselves to be more efficient than non-worker managed factories;

WHEREAS workers’ councils are the most effective means by which to bring democracy to the economy and democratically plan the careful use of precious natural resources;

BE IT RESOLVED that the NDYA fully support worker managed factories as a practical alternative to capitalism and an effective method by which to promote economic, as well as political, democracy.

PASSED

I liked this one for its strict adherence to the principles, and apparent heroes, of absolute communist dictatorships:

POLICY:
NDYA Endorsement of “Hands Off Venezuela!”

Passed: Sat., Nov. 6, 2004

WHEREAS the revolutionary process led by the Venezuelan working class and the Chavez government in Venezuela is a direct result of the contradictions of capitalism at an international level

WHEREAS the Federal NDP already stands in solidarity with the Venezuelan Bolivarian Revolution led by the democratically elected president Hugo Chavez

WHEREAS American bourgeois imperialism has threatened and continues to threaten the historical processes in Venezuela through the use of questionable referendums and/or violence

WHEREAS the internationally renowned “Hands Off Venezuela!” campaign (hereinafter referred to as “HOV”) continues to bring these aforementioned issues to workers the world over

WHEREAS the “Hands Off Venezuela!” Campaign has already been endorsed by other notable leftist organizations and individuals in the social activist arena

BE IT RESOLVED that the NDYA stand in solidarity with the people of Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution by officially endorsing the HOV campaign

EXTRA EXTRA COMMUNISTO!

The young NDPers’ web site has a links page containing only a few links, but they are sure to include the one to both the NDP and www.marxist.com

Their Reading List contains only a few books, including one by communist Fidel Castro named “War, Racism, and Economic Injustice”, and one by the communist Frederick Engels called “The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State”.  Presumably you’ve already read the Communist Manifesto.  Also:  “Lenin and Trotsky – What they really stood for”, and finally one by a Canadian:  Naomi Klein— “No Logo: Taking Aim at the Brand Bullies”.
