My notes on the Cabinet Shuffle Opposition Mouthpiece Festival

• We thought it was a cabinet shuffle.  But the liberal media knew better.  It was actually a festival of anti-conservative opposing voices.  And because the CBC also covered it, it was largely state-sponsored.  Most every anti-conservative minion, from professors to anti-war folks to opposition leaders and liberal-left MPs and liberal-left aids and supporters were trotted out to denounce everything the conservatives ever did or will do, and explain to us their abject shock that the Conservatives refuse to change into exactly what they are, which is socialist surrender-monkey women.

Dawn Black of the you’ve got to be kidding party and the shrill columnist Barbara Yaffe from the liberals’ Vancouver Sun both whined into open microphones on national television today (I mean in a very real way—they whined like baby girls), about there not being enough women in cabinet, as if that’s the most important factor on earth, (a planet which I note is called “Mother Earth” and it really pisses me off.  Whine.)  I can just see them sitting there seething as they watched the proceedings, getting ready to shriek about there not being enough women in cabinet.

Meanwhile, in actual fact, Canada has been run by a bunch of liberal women for at least three decades.  And I’m just talking about government.

Other cabinet-shuffle notes:

• From what I understand from his interview, the you’ve got to be kidding party’s Jack Layton hates everything except socialism and surrendering to Osama bin Laden.  He sounded like a lunatic.

• Frenchman Gilles Duceppe of the Nation of Quebec sounded shocked that Harper didn’t simply cede to his demands.  I didn’t catch what exactly his demands were because he spoke in French, and other than that, he sounded moronic and I purposely tuned out.

• The Greenie party’s Elizabeth May thinks it’s all so stupid.  She insinuated that by fax or email or something. Largely, nobody cared.

• Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion—well of course as usual I don’t know what in tarnation he said.  Suffice it to say:  Ee is not appy.

Other minor notes:
• As best I can figure, all but one new cabinet minister swore an oath to God by adding the optional “so help me God” at the end, driving liberals insane in the process.

• It started in English!  But after the first sentence or so of ‘O Canada’ was sung at the end of the swearing in, I felt like I accidentally switched to a different channel—one of the stupid foreign language channels that are forced on me—when the official lead singer switched the singing to all French.  Made me think we may need a Quebec referendum OUTSIDE of Quebec.
