The vote went 164 to 137 in favor of sanity. Meaning there remains a lot of ideological stupids in positions of power, who need to be voted out of office. I will try to get around to listing them for you (your help welcome!) when I can.
The Conservative MP Candice Hoeppner’s private member’s bill (Bill C-391) will now go to committee. There it will languish for as long as Liberals and their brethren in the you’ve got to be kidding party can manage, with the ongoing aiding and abetting by their equally ignorant and ideologically-driven accomplices in the media.
21 Liberal, NDP and independent MPs voted to abolish the registry.
