Ever since the Bush surge in Iraq has started working and showing success in that war beyond anybody’s wildest dreams (this success is actually known as nightmares—again that’s nightmares—in the case of liberals —I know it’s confusing), Iraq has dropped off all the liberal media pages, and talk in the media has instinctively turned back to their old pal, the economy. After all, the U.S. and Canada has enjoyed a fantastic, growing economy for years, and its about time for that to end—what with election fever in the air.
This will carry on until they can find a Republican or any conservative in any washroom with his pants down (liberals poo out their mouths negating the need for washrooms, and thus we never hear of such things from their quarters).
So Canada’s Maclean’s magazine has graced itself with one of their famous freak-out covers.
Inside, you’ll find an article with the screaming headline:
“ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE
The U.S. is trying to hold off economic disaster. If it fails, no one is safe.”
This is passed-off as responsible journalism in the eyes of the objective, professional, “news” media today.
The rest of the cover depicts a huge picture of a polar bear, and is about the looming crisis of the polar bear being wiped out. You know, due to the “man-made global warming”.
There are no stories about the success of the Iraq surge.
