This refers back to my blog entry here, about the state-run CBC’s depraved “nerve” program and web site. It’s well worth reading about.
There’s now a nicely written (as always) article at the good LifeSite.net site about my exposà © of the “nerve” program and web site.
But I believe the state bureaucrats at the state-run media are now scurrying—at least a little bit. I have heard from an emailer that he’s been informed that his email to the CBC Ombudsman is being forwarded to a Kim Wilson, Creative Head of TV Children’s and Youth Programming.
But I have also noticed that the CBC.ca web site has now changed their linkage.
Formerly, when you clicked on the “TEENS” link (pictured at left), it brought web surfers to a teens page where they could choose from among a variety of their CBC teen destinations—“nerve” being just one of them.
Now, that “teens” link takes you only to a site called “The Void”—yet another utterly useless CBC show but which at least contains no perversion or attempts to normalize bizarre, sexual, depraved, or otherwise ultra liberal behavior among our nation’s young kids, at taxpayer expense.
For example, you’ll see how the link to “KIDS” (right above “TEENS”) leads to this link: http://www.cbc.ca/kids
But the “TEENS” page doesn’t lead to http://www.cbc.ca/teens, which you’d expect for consistency, it now leads to http://www.cbc.ca/thevoid.
There now appears to be no link to the CBC’s “nerve” site, and yet it still exists, at least at this moment it does. [ http://www.cbc.ca/nerve ]
Some will say they’re now starting a cover-up of sorts. It’s a good thing I saved pages and videos.
I like to think that I’m making a difference and I hope I am, but in actual fact, I think if I reveal a little more of what’s on the CBC web site’s front page today, it may provide a solid clue as to what is manifestly on their minds today.
Maybe it’s a lot of things all working together to cause change for the better.
UPDATE Feb 7 2006:
After reviewing historic data available on the internet, I now believe that it’s possible the “TEENS” link always led to a page called “The Void”, but that “The Void” had among its options the link to “nerve”. Now, however (and this still stands), there appears to be no link to “nerve” anywhere that I can find. When I originally started investigating this file, I simply clicked the “TEENS” link and found the link to “nerve” that way. Now, as I said, I cannot.
