Liberal Party worker arrested; her Liberal boss in what some might call a cover-up

It’s endemic.  Systemic.  Positively polemic.  It’s Liberal!

Let’s rap! (It’s modern!)

Imagine a world in which Liberals, who think it’s “progressive”,  were able to decide amongst themselves who’s guilty of what and what penalty they’ll serve if they are guilty (naturally taking into consideration whether they’re a “single mother of modest means” and “a good worker” or not); and who decide just exactly who will and who won’t take action against them in order to, perhaps beat the rap…  oh bother, hang on a sec, let me start again because that’s exactly the way it works right now.  I’m not hip to the whole “rap” thang.  Or is this “hip-hop”?  Potato, potawto; liberal, criminal.

OK.

A liberal party worker was caught, some time ago, by Liberal higher-ups, forging checks and stealing cash from Canada’s Natural Governing Party (Trademark – Canada’s liberals and their media).  Unlike the Adscam Sponsorship scandal, they worked on this caper.  13,000 Natural Governing Party bucks were at stake!

Therefore, after police were involved, her boss wrote her a letter suggesting that she could simply repay the money, all that “fraud” and “forgery” jibber-jabber aside, and if she did, then the whole matter would be dropped.  A crime would have, in effect, been acknowledged as having been committed, but as a Liberal elite, he could and would see to it that the whole matter would be dropped.

Vote liberal.

The National Post reports (just prior to advising us of the important caveat in this case, that alas, aside from being a Liberal Party worker, she was “a single mother of modest means”—unlike that rich Conrad Black who thus really deserves an 18-month trial by innuendo:

Arrest made in missing Liberal cash

…As allegations against Ms. Pawlak swirled last February,

[Joel notes: and after a police criminal investigation had commenced]

Mr. Pretlove

[a Liberal Party higher-up]

drafted a letter to the riding leadership offering two compromises on her behalf.

According to a document viewed by the National Post, Mr. Pretlove suggested that either Ms. Pawlak supply supporting documentation for the payments or alternatively, “[a] cheque representing the amount in question is issued and sent to the attention of Mr. Norm Feaver, Riding Association President by the LPC(O).”

If the second option were undertaken, wrote Mr. Pretlove, “there must be an assurance from the Executive of the [Elgin-Middlesex-London Federal Liberal Association] (in writing from the Association President) that there will be no further action taken, and the matter will be considered closed.”

The riding association rejected the offer. Riding president Mr. Feaver later called the offer “ill-advised.”…

Today she was arrested by police for 42 counts of fraud and uttering forged documents.

Which must make Liberals crazy with anger, since it didn’t go through them first.
