Extreme left-wing NDPer says Canada should give refuge to U.S. military deserters

Doesn’t anybody bother to check political nominees for sanity any more in Canada?

NDP MP Bill Siksay is an extreme left-winger who is a special friend of the Cuban dictator Fidel Castro-lover and former extreme leftist NDP MP Svend Robinson.  Siksay worked as Svend Robinson’s assistant before taking the reigns from Svend when Svend got caught being a criminal and stealing capitalist materialistic jewelry from a capitalist store he was visiting, even though he’s a overt socialist.  Robinson is now a regular guest of the Mike Duffy show “Countdown” on CTV Newsnet.

Siksay believes Canada should harbour military deserters from the United States.  To heck with what the Americans think about that, apparently.  Laws are made to be broken, and if you don’t like the law, even if it’s for purely political reasons, screwit.  Destroy Canada’s relationship with the U.S.

That’s a “good plan”, to liberals.  This is “advanced” thinking.  “Makes sense”.

And how could this story get even better?  He’s the NDP’s Citizenship and Immigration critic

So that’s official NDP policy?  If the NDP ever won an election, he’d be the minister of Immigration?  That’s what the extreme left in this country wants to do?  That’s liberal!  That’s progressive!

Campaign to give army deserters refuge persists

Canada should welcome such ex-soldiers, Siksay said, inviting the message it would send the world.

“We don’t want soldiers who check their conscience at the door when they sign up,” the NDP MP said.

Apparently he does want Canadians—especially those opposed to redefining “family” and “marriage”—to leave their consciences at the door.

And Canadians should continue to pay taxes so that all abortions, without any limitation at all whatsoever (which is the current state in Canada) are paid for by taxpayers, no questions asked—no matter what your conscience says.

And people actually vote for this kind of nonsensical buffoonery.
