Study shows increased rain and snowfall in Northern regions

OTTAWA (CP) – An Environment Canada study has detected humans having a direct impact for the first time on changing global patterns of rain and snowfall.

Bulltwinkies.  Nothing in the article says anything about HUMANS.  Only a climate variation.

The study says precipitation increased 10 per cent over the past century in northern regions from the 40th to the 70th parallel, a band which includes most of Canada and Europe.

hmmm, last century included the depths of the little ice age.

Lead author Francis Zwiers says the change can’t be explained by natural variability or volcanic eruptions.

Um.. how about this:  Cool temps = less evaporation = less precipitation?

The study reinforces confidence in the computer models widely used to study climate, showing actual changes that are in line with predictions.

Except the fact that the surface is warming faster then the air therefore the correct conclusion is that the surface is warming the air rather than the failed models that show the air warming the surface…..

The worst part of the article is that everything is stated as fact.  There is not even the slightest hint that the observations or the interpretations are theories.
