Nope! The CTV isn’t liberal!
Canadians breathed a sigh of relief when parliamentarians pulled back from the brink of an election to take their annual summertime recess last June.
That’s how an article at CTV.ca begins, in a story about the upcoming session of parliament.
Phew! No possibility of defeating the liberals! That’s the last thing “Canadians” want!
The objective reporter continues:
As you may still recall, instead of ending in a snap election, that session ended with a last-minute budget deal that saw the Liberals and NDP join forces to pass the fiscal plan and ensure the minority Liberals’ would survive to govern another day.
Close call, huh? Sighhhh of relieffffff.
Near the end of the story which turns out to be mostly about Stephen Harper’s perceived problems (mostly media-invented and nurtured) and how lousy Stephen Harper’s chances are, they seem to admit that the possibility of an election before the summer was the best chance for Conservative success:
According to [fellow liberal media reporter, CTV Ottawa bureau chief Robert] Fife, Liberals believe the Conservative leader let his best chance at forming a government—at the height of the scandalous testimony during the sponsorship inquiry last spring—slip past.
Now, that opportunity appears to be long gone.
Ahhhhhhh.
That was me breathing a sigh of relief! Thank God the socialists were able to remain in power without any hassles!
The liberal media is now so liberal, they no longer even recognize how liberal they are.
