It’s simply GOT to be in our constitution somewhere! Don’t worry liberals, the Supreme Court division of the Liberal Party will find it in there somewhere!
Liberal Prime Minister Paul (“we lead the world”) Martin will be in a state of dysphoria again this week as Canada yet again fails to live up to his (and his party’s) bogus claim that Canada leads the world in anything at all whatsoever. And once again I’m finding myself positively relieved, as so often happens when I report about events in liberal and ever-so-progressive Europe, which Canada constantly tries to mimic (as a way of “leading”, apparently).
The man who will marry his kids’ granny said:
“It was the most humiliating experience of my life. We were treated like outcasts.
Outcasts, huh? That spells constitutional and human R-I-G-H-T-S to me! Get on it, Canadian liberals! COTLER!!!
The article also informs us:
Mr Blunden says he now hopes to marry Brenda, who is the mother of his former wife, and grandmother to his two children aged 22 and 27.
[…] Last week judges sitting at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg said the British bar on in-law marriages, although pursuing a legitimate aim of protecting “the integrity of the family”, did not prevent such relationships occurring.
I imagine lawyers and judges and other liberal divisions—and liberal people across Canada as a general matter—are going to be hitting the COTLER button on their phone’s speed-dialer and dialing-up our creative Minister of Justice, Irwin Cotler, about this lapse in “human rights” and “equality rights” and anti-grandmother (grandmaphobia?) nonsense that obviously occurs in this country.
