I read on the CTV.ca site this morning that the genius political strategist, economist, Clinton aid and multi-zillionaire Hollywood über elite liberal Barbra Streisand will be headlining a star fundraiser for their Barack Hussein Obama.
The media will go nuts.
Not to be outdone, the Liberals in Canada are hauling out their biggies: Bob Rae and (fingers crossed!), maybe even Michael Ignatieff! Yes I’m serious! Better bring on the extra security! The media here will go nuttier! Imagine if they were on the same stage—together! It’d be like the BeeGee’s!
Rae turns up with Dion on campaign trail
The Canadian Press
September 16, 2008 at 9:29 AM EDTOTTAWA — The struggling Liberal campaign trotted out some of its long-awaited star power Tuesday as former leadership hopefuls Bob Rae and Scott Brison sang the praises of embattled leader Stéphane Dion.
Weird! I must be seeing stars! I just blogged about “Bare-Ass” Bob Rae and Scott (“Fancy Pants from Kings-Hants”) Brison yesterday as they posed nude for the cameras, you know, the way all world leaders usually do during election campaigns. I wonder if they will appear on stage with Dion nude! Maybe Dion’s wife Mizzz Krieber can paint a few nudes for her series!
What ever happened to that Scott Reid?
In digging for even more amazing news and viewpoints about this whole Liberal “star” caper, the G&M speed-dialed expert Liberal genius mouthpiece Scott Reid (former campaign wrecker for Paul Martin, and the one who outed one of the Liberal Party’s hidden agendas by informing Canadians on national television that if we were allowed to keep our own cash instead of voting for the Liberals and letting them tax it away from us (so the Liberal government could spend it for us), we’d go ahead and spend our money on “beer and popcorn” instead of tending to our children and families). When asked if Dion should bring on the Liberal “star power”, his answer was, and I quote: “That’s a big 10-4.”
Apparently Reid is in the trucking industry now. Perhaps a trucking “strategist”… to the stars!
