News from the ProudToBeCanadian World headquarters (click thumbnail at left to see full-size): our PTBC Sales Department’s Delivery Secretariat (Lapel Pin Planned Issuance and Procurement Subdivision Bureau), also known as “Jo-Anne” —has now processed and shipped-out the first batch of orders for our PTBC pins.
Some have asked: are they made in Canada? And by union labor?
Don’t be so silly. No, of course not. As Canadian unionized workers have priced themselves out of the market, the company which supplied them to us (we purposely chose a Canadian company even though it would have been cheaper to go with an American one) had them made in China, which is totally normal for nearly all North American companies today. Communist China doesn’t allow “unions” as we know them, so at least we can say that they are non-union made. Sadly, they smell somewhat like Jing Pow Chicken and may be dangerous for children.
They are being shipped via state-owned, unionized, Canada Post “Corporation”, so that oughta please you socialists, provided you can get over the phony “Corporation” nonsense at the end of the name of the government’s mail delivery monopoly.
The special bubble envelopes we toss them into were made in China as well, but were purchased at a store called something like Whacky Willy’s Everything’s a Buck, Bucko! store at the mall. The brand name of the bubble envelopes is “Selectum”, which of course sounds like some sort of condom brand, so that oughta please you liberals.
The postage stamps I bought for the envelopes cost $1.18 each, plus GST, for a total of $1.24, and depict some weird alien or foreign immigrant bug creature thing engaged in the sport of curling—from a wheelchair—which I am led to believe represents Canada and typical Canadians, to help explain us to the world for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Apparently we’re like some weird alien or foreign immigrant bug creature things who engage in curling from wheelchairs.
Most payments are processed by PayPal, which is owned by Ebay, which was led by Meg Whitman, who is a Republican supporter and raised funds for Republican Prez candidate Mitt Romney in ‘08, and who may run for Governor of California in the next go-round, replacing useless Governor Schwarzenegger, RINO.
I’ve already pointed out that since our pins have a nice long sharp needle to stick it on your lapel or hat, you women with hairy armpits and you folks who don’t shower and the folks in the pierced nipple set could install one of our PTBC pins in your eyebrow or lip or tongue or wherever else. So that should take care of you you’ve got to be kidding party voters and your “life partners”.
And they emit zero carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, causing no “man-made global warming”, so you won’t have to embarrass yourself with the utter stupidity of purchasing any “carbon offsets”, so that should please all moonbats as a general matter.
We aim to please here at PTBC.
