had his tongue only slightly in cheek when he told the group: “Secularists portray faith as medieval hocus pocus, but they have their own faux religion. What is the Supreme Court but a priesthood served by acolytes in black robes? If that isn’t a description of a religion, I don’t know what is. All it lacks is incense—something they will remedy by legalizing marijuana.”
What right-wing religious conservative nut-job said that?, asks all the liberal-lefties out there.
Liberal MP John McKay, that’s who. The NDP’s Bev Desjarlais also attended the Manning conference.
