So much wisdom, so little space and time to post it all for you here and besides, it’s already posted for your perusal.
I culled this excellent example from the ongoing discussion in this blog entry (“Rally nonetheless”). It’s comment #37 by “Frank Q.” from Guelph, Ontario:
I won’t shoot you, Mister Kim.
Isn’t interesting?
When Belinda the Stronach crossed to the Libs, the media went on and on about how Harper couldn’t keep a “moderate” Tory in the big tent. He was surely losing control of the Party and calls for his head prevailed.
Interpretation?….Harper is an idiot.
When Emmerson crosses to the Conservatives, nobody, but nobody, says anything about how the Libs can’t keep a conservative type Liberal in their big tent or that Harper has opened his tent wide enough to keep Liberals in the fold.
Interpretation?….Harper is an idiot.
What eats at me is that whether an MP crosses from or to the Conservatives, it’s Stephen Harper’s fault.
The media got what it wanted….Conservatives fighting amongst themselves.
No, Mister Kim, I won’t shoot you, because you are right!
The story will be over by the end of the week. But we don’t wait a week around here to post our thoughts. So it happened yesterday, we talk about it yesterday and today and probably tomorrow and the next day maybe. That’s what it’s about.
