This is a rather shocking story being reported in the Globe and Mail.
It seems the former Prime Minister Jean (“a proof is a proof”) Chretien has been peddling his lawyerly wares for a company that wants to do business with a tyrannical dictator in the country called Turkmenistan.
It shows you the absolutely repugnant lack of any sagaciousness and international affairs fortitude that the liberals possess, as they are quite prepared to make deals with the evil people of the world for money and power—for themselves. The safety of Canada and the rest of the world be damned.
