Hey Dave,
Hey here’s a suggestion: Take the offensive against those hapless political losers who have hearkened onto the last vestige of liberals, which is always to call those who oppose them, and mostly their messiah Barack Obama —as “racist”. I’m sick of it (or as liberals intone, “I’m like so over that.”).
Moreover, it’s nothing less than stunningly ironic and psychologically projective.
When I say “take the offensive,” I don’t mean you should be like liberals and act like you’re all “offended” about someone calling out President Obama as a liar. I mean more like saddle up your horse, or if lacking that, your giant SUV, and run them over, by which I mean in the intellectual sense of course. It’s really easy. Simply show up.
Do as I do and refuse to be put on the defensive by the likes of the worst President of all time, Jimmy Carter (“Carter: Racism plays major role in opposition to Obama”), and those who jumped onto the wrong ship and now follow this horrible and increasingly sad example of an ex-President, as he strives to cling to relevancy. You know, exactly like the CBC.
Any news media or any mainstream media which help politicians play up this “racist” angle without loudly questioning it and probably also laughing out loud at the perpetrators, on air, should be held to an even harsher account, because they are otherwise complicit. I suggest a mass consumer protest in which you shun those media outlets (or in the case of the state-owned CBC, demand that your tax dollars stop being funneled from your pocket to further enable them —or to speak like liberals, “empower” them); and a hearty laugh every time you hear their liberal sycophant flock speak as though everyone in the room agrees with them. For example, CBC viewers.
Anybody who labels you as “racist” when you oppose them or their messiah Obama is unwittingly admitting they are completely obtuse fools. They’ve simply given up even trying to be or sound intelligent. They’ve given up the debate because they know they’ve lost it badly. They can’t stand up to you, and they’ve just realized it. Confronted with facts backing up our opposition to their world view, they know they can’t win the debate, ever. And so they call you names. They make it personal. They falsely impugn your character and your motives with a vile rant.
They tried using “the debate is over!” And “the science is settled!” And “you believe in God? What an idiot!” But that failed miserably inasmuch as it was so stupid it was funny, and such an obvious, total lie, and exactly un-science-y to say that.
“Racist” is the last step before they start sputtering with rage and calling you “stupid”, then twaddling off in the opposite direction, possibly to another “man-made global warning” meeting or, if they’re women, to a meeting of the Unshaved Armpit Brigade.
But be compassionate in the end. It’s really a cry for help from these liberals and further leftists. They need your help making the crossover from stupid to smart and sober and enlightened. From intolerant louts to informed, tolerant and intelligent folks. They’ve almost reached bottom, they’re very near, and they need our wise help.***
***Be very careful with this, because as we know from our studies in advanced Coulterism and intellectual sobriety, if you hand a liberal an olive branch, he’s likely to make you feel like you’re ever so kind, but then take it and bash you over the head with it before taking it back to the olive tree, and then hugging the tree. It takes practice and patience.
