After my repeatedly calling them out for trying to pass off the socialist Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives as simply another “research group”, one without political leanings (see item #3 from just a few days ago), today on the occasion of the socialism-advocating group coming up with their (ridiculous) “alternative budget”, the state-owned, socialism-reliant CBC’s oxymoronic “YOUR BUSINESS” segment and its reporter Louise Martin let it slip that the Canadian Center for Policy Alternatives was a “left-wing” research group.
CBC’s Louise Martin: “Everyone has an opinion about this Suhana, but this is from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives—it’s a left-wing think tank—an Ottawa-based research institute that is now weighing in—essentially jumping ahead of the January 27th budget releasing its annual alternative budget today…”
Here’s the big scoop: the socialists recommend—surprise!—massive government spending, and no tax cuts. That’s apparently what’s going to fix the economy. The only savior is the government. (Of course this is what they recommend even when the economy is booming.)
The real scoop: The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives is a far-left socialism-advocating group where the “alternative” they refer to is an alternative to capitalism—that being socialism—for Canada.
