Another day from the Lowell Green radio talk show island of sanity. Well, interspersed with moments of hilarity and actual scariness.
In “progressive” Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the “progressives” are making great “progress”. They now think that it’s perfectly normal to call a regular, normal, clear-thinking capitalist conservative average-guy radio talk-show host who is clearly in touch with the community after being in radio for nearly a half a century, and talk about what amounts to communism for Canada, and do so as if Lowell Green is the one who’s nuts. They’re the normal ones. “What part of this don’t you understand?” is their bewildered attitude.
No wonder people think the CTV is “right-wing” simply by virtue of the fact that it’s not state-owned. Over the past few years, it’s become almost generally accepted in this country that profit is bad. Personally responsibility is bad. Competition is bad. Not having a social program to help you with your basic life is bad. Corporations are bad. Tax cuts are bad. Morals and values are bad. And government is good—the more government, the better. That’s what the liberal-left calls “progress”. That’s “progressive”.
Lowell Green engaged the Howard Dean screech near the end of this call.
