Why was he out on bail?
It’s the liberals’ law courts division in action once again, now that it’s been stacked from top to bottom with bleeding heart “compassionate” liberals and leftists and moral relativists who were appointed by other like-minded liberals who know it all. This is why a Conservative government needs to ensure that every single judicial appointment for the next 15 to 20 years be true blue conservatives who believe in good old fashioned law and order. I’ll sit over here and hold my breath while that happens.
The man suspected of being the one who killed his family and then himself near Victoria this week was already charged with several extremely serious crimes of violence, and was naturally therefore free on bail. It’s Canada. Police recommended he not be let out on bail. Liberals know better though.
Let’s understand the liberal: The liberal-left doesn’t believe in jail, punishment, or protecting society, or actual victims—they only believe in “reintegration into society” and “rehabilitation” and employing “social workers” to “understand” the “feelings” of attempted murderers.
“A search of court documents showed that Lee had been out on bail for a July 31 incident in which police say he tried to hurt his wife by driving their SUV into a telephone pole … Lee’s record includes criminal charges for aggravated assault, dangerous driving causing injury, and kidnapping, dating back to 2005 … The court released Lee for the incident in the SUV, but on conditions that he stay away from the home and his wife and that he not carry a knife … And The Canadian Press cited small claims court documents filed in December of last year, that showed Lee was being sued by an employee who alleged he assaulted her twice … claims Lee slashed her right hand in the kitchen of the restaurant in December 2004 … also claimed Lee assaulted her in Match, 2005, grabbing her by the throat, slamming her head against a stone wall, hitting her face and choking her.”
Clearly society was perfectly safe with him roaming the streets. Vote liberal. Good luck.
