…who are alive and in power today in Ottawa.
And he wasn’t drunk or high on pot, so far as we are aware.
It was reported in a Canwest Global newspaper, the Chronicle Herald from Halifax. In Canada, not making this up, in our cities, yadda, yup.
Keith Boag, state-run CBC-TV’s chief political correspondent, or what I’m going to go ahead and call their chief political correspondent “Czar”, since they so love calling the ethics “Czar” that whenever they have nasties to say about conservatives, said this about the Conservatives’ relations with the media (or what the liberal media calls “political media Armageddon”)…
“Standing on the threshold of a majority government in the next election, it doesn’t want to screw things up,” he said. “Whether I like it or not, I have to concede that it is rational behaviour.”
So it’s official. The state-run CBC union member has endorsed the wacky Conservatives’ behavior as “rational”. Phew. I had doubts. And the state-run media is fully supportive of the Harper Conservative government and will now sway all their media reports in a pro-conservative fashion rather than a rabidly anti-conservative fashion. CBC reporter correspondent Czar Julia Van Dusen will have to not say the word “abortion” 857 times using her “I’m warning you!” precautionary reporting style in the days leading up to the next election, as she did the last. It is a turning point for Canada.
Vote liberal. D’oh!
