Saturday Newsquip or two or three

Originally posted 2008-10-25 10:12 AM …  fixed comments—they work now…
…Updated through the day, a little, since it’s Saturday…

1. DRIVE-BY MEDIA Obama butt-kiss:  They can’t help themselves:  An unknown columnist for the Business pages of the Vancouver Sun writes on Friday about the internet communication tool known as Twitter.com, and why he thinks it’s the cat’s meow.  (Of course he’s from Montreal) …  He offers up this example of its use:  “It could be as mundane as ‘taking the dog out for a walk’, or as interesting as ‘McCain finds solutions in what hasn’t worked in the past (oil drilling, diplomacy by force). Obama finds solutions in new ideas.’” … Oh THAT’s what Twitter is about. Now I see.

image 2. DRIVE-BY DISHONEST MEDIA THAT YOU CAN’T TRUST —As I mentioned two days ago, SHE WAS TALKING TO AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD …  But that doesn’t stop the Vancouver Sun from effectively lying by not telling you that.  Their article managed to make it sound like Sarah Palin was simply responding to a reporter’s question, without mentioning that the reporter was taking questions from eight-year-olds and passing them to Mrs. Palin, who was to then address the eight-year-old’s question: “And Monday, Palin bared her lack of political knowledge when she was asked about the functions of a vice-president by a Colorado television station.”Nice drive-by lie, journalist!  … Then they further mangled it, saying that her answer “contradicted the separation-of-powers principle enshrined in the U.S. constitution.”  WRONG-GO BADONG-GO, journalist.  As even some 15-year-olds know, the Vice President is the President of the Senate.  There is in fact that crossover “principle”.  Again:  There is in fact a crossover between the Executive branch and the Legislative branch.  The Constitution reads (Article I, Section 3):  “The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.”  The VP is also mentioned in Article II.  The VP actually belongs to both the executive and the legislative branches of government.  … Sometimes you have to correct the liberals’ media just like they’re eight-year-olds

2-b.  HYPOCRITES AND IDIOTS.  Not mentioned in any Obama-butt-kissing mainstream media: Earlier this month, Democratic Party VP candidate Joe Biden said the job was “to preside over the Senate”, but ”…only in a time when in fact there’s a tie vote.”  And he added “The Constitution is explicit.”  WRONG-GO BADONG-GO, Biden.  The Vice President is always the President of the Senate.  Whether there’s a tie vote or not.  Again:  There is in fact a crossover between the Executive branch and the Legislative branch.  The Constitution reads (Article I, Section 3):  “The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.”  The VP actually belongs to both the executive and the legislative branches of government.  … Where’s the media ridicule of Biden?  … Crickets….

image3. CTV.CACA— IN THE TOILET FOR LIBERALS – An Ass Press (Associated Press) story posted today at CTV.caca (which actually has editors) wipes liberal butt for liberals, then kisses the butts, then flushes the toilet on honest journalism.  It’s an already past its best before date and previously digested story, but burped-up and regurgitated once again for the 8,000th time, about some ever so tolerant and respectful and yet rabid and quite possibly deranged liberal-left Bush-haters in San Fransisco, who want to re-name a sewage treatment plant the “George W. Bush Sewage Treatment Plant”—to express that famous liberal-left love and tolerance and respect.  …. The story isn’t bad enough.  Then the “JOURNALISTS” have to embark on a little adventure in news story embellishment, and ooze this brain poo“Proponents of the measure say the country has gone down the drain under his leadership. They say labeling a sewage plant with Bush’s name is a proper way to remember the 43rd president.  Opponents say renaming the plant after Bush would be disrespectful to the plant and its workers.  … Apparently nobody mentioned the disrespect for the President, or for the craft of journalism  … And the CTV.caca “news” team want you to trust them for your news—or even your entertainment—needs.  I’ll find news media that isn’t corrupt—and full of crap—thanks.

4. PTBC reader Jean B. sends this link from Gateway Pundit along…. pretty shocking… “Confirmed: MSM Holds Video Of Barack Obama Attending Jew-Bash & Toasting a Former PLO Operative… Refuse to Release the Video!”  … Say it with me:  The mainstream media is corrupt
