Fox News Channel is reporting that Reuters has once again apparently been caught editing a photo.
Their story is based on the findings of a blogger.
Reuters Admits Cropping Photos of Ship Clash, Denies Political Motive
…The blog “Little Green Footballs” challenged Reuters’ editing of the photo.
“That’s a very interesting way to crop the photo. Most people would consider that knife an important part of the context. There was a huge controversy over whether the activists were armed. Cropping out a knife, in a picture showing a soldier who’s apparently been stabbed, seems like a very odd editorial decision. Unless someone was trying to hide it,” the blog stated. …
EXTRA PERFIDIOUS:
What’s worse than faking a photo to spin the news and lie to advocate a political position in the news media? NOT REPORTING THIS STORY. Therefore, almost ALL the mainstream media is complicit in this. This news about the fakery is available at FoxNews.com and all over the internet. When a legendary, supposedly trusted news source allegedly fakes or modifies a photo, for the second time, for suspicious reasons, it’s a huge story. Not reporting it is simply corrupt.
For example, the state-owned, far-left CBC.ca is not reporting this.
Also checked Globe and Mail and the state-owned CBC/National Post News and Advertising Cooperative. They are not reporting this. Nor is CTV, or CNEWS or the Toronto Star.
