After days of hitting my code-filled head with crazed abandon, I’m trying out a new techno-wonder: I call it “The Real Conservative Blogosphere”. You can see it—a list—in the right side-border.
The purpose is to list (automatically, instantly, in real time, thanks to smart computers and bloggers) conservative blog sites that have just been updated with a new blog entry. Every time a conservative blogger makes a blog entry, the site gets listed (with a link) at the top of the list.
To make it work, the blogger has to add a “PING” url to their blogging software’s configuration, then let me know what their site is, and that’s it. Their computer PINGs our server, and the magical fairies add your site to the top of our list!
The result will be a useful resource for us all—conservative bloggers out there get noticed on a time-sensitive basis and readers here get other perspectives—served-up fresh, hot of the press!
If you’re a blogger, simply add this URL to your PING list:
http://www.proudtobecanadian.ca/blog/index?ACT=42&id=1 (don’t click it please)
Then let us know what your site’s addy is and we’ll add it to our “authorized” list. That’s it! Then everytime you make a new blog entry, your site and a link to it will be added to the top of the Real Conservative Blogosphere list!
