Liberal Prime Minister Paul (“we lead the world”) Martin will address
his handmaidens
his Canada tomorrow on Liberal*Vision (Canadian TV), in a show of obvious frustration over the fact that his liberals are not getting that all-pro-liberal, all-the-time media coverage they usually do. Even the liberal media are apparently unable to pretend this isn’t going on. I imagine that over at the state-run CBC division of the Liberal Party, they’re taking in massive doses of the taxpayer-funded The Trudeau Years hoping that this will all go away really soon!
I assume he will instruct his Party’s massive CBC division to carry his message to his underlings (that’d be you ‘n me). After all, we paid over a BILLION dollars just this year alone for that liberal friendly ad firm to broadcast the liberal message.
Of course as soon as an election is underway, he automatically gets all the anti-conservative media he can handle, and what with the non-state-owned liberal-friendly ad-firms (which are literally overflowing with cashola) churning out that positive “Harper has a scary, scary hidden agenda” liberal marketing, thanks allegedly to the dispensation of your tax dollars on your behalf, all of his sad-faced angst will fade away. Then happy time will be back for the liberals. More Carrot Top imitations coming soon!
Meanwhile, here’s another poll release today, but as always, bear in mind that this is pre media-being-in-anti-conservative-election mode, so basically reverse the numbers to get a glipse of post-media getting into anti-conservative election mode numbers.
A new Decima Research poll shows that revelations at the Gomery inquiry into the sponsorship scandal have cost the Liberals significant support to the benefit of the Conservative party.
The Conservatives stand at 35 per cent nationally, compared to 28 per cent for the Liberals and 18 per cent for the NDP.
