…And then Canada’s liberal media responds by reporting that Israel is firing rockets and killing Palestinians.
The media, Israel and Palestinians — here’s how it works these days:
There’s nothing like killing a few dozen or a few hundred little Israeli boys and girls, and their mothers and fathers and grandmas and grandpas, to bring a sense of pride to Palestinians.
That’s how these people think. That’s their culture.
Happily, Canadians liberals simply bash Americans with banal anti-Americanisms when they need votes—that’s their culture—they don’t fire rockets and such.
The civil war going on in the Gaza Strip between Palestinian factions Hamas, a terrorist organization with funding from Iran, and Fatah, is getting bothersome, apparently, and they seem to think the very best way to resolve that and bring a sense of common cause and unity …is to kill Jews.
So they fire rockets into Israel daily, crossing their fingers that they kill as many Jews as possible, and hoping that Israel will fire back, drawing them in, thus invoking unity of cause—the cause being killing Jews, which is seen as even more important that killing each other. Ultimately, it’s the most important thing ever.
Then when Israel fires rockets at their attackers in order to save innocent lives and their nation (which is all they do all day long, as a rule) —or they launch some sort of defensive attack in order to kill the savage murderers or smash their launching posts, the world’s liberal media launch a barrage of its own against Israel, with multiple hit pieces complete with awful photos, accusing Israel of brutal slayings of innocent Palestinians for no apparent reason, back to you in the studio, Lloyd.
For example, here a headline and first paragraph at CTV.ca from this morning:
Israeli aircraft fires missiles into Gaza Strip
Updated Wed. May. 16 2007 8:39 AM ET
CTV.ca News Staff
An Israeli helicopter fired at least three missiles into the southern Gaza Strip on Wednesday, an attack that left at least four people dead, 14 injured and several buried under rubble, according to Palestinian sources. …
That’s an abomination. One has to be driving an agenda to come up with a headline and opening paragraph like that.
