This column, “Taking back Christmas”, by Cal Thomas, inspired me to think about Christmas in a different way this year.
You don’t have to be a practicing Christian or even religious in any way, to take a step back and respect the tradition and the meaning behind the holiday. Many of us take it for granted and bury under a pile of liberal-driven secularism and political correctness.
Take a shot at any one of these this year. I’d love to hear what if any you all did (I mean aside from the snide “I pay my taxes” remark that all too easily slides off my tongue and yours too I’m sure)…
